Much of continental Europe uses sworn translators enrolled with a court or ministry of justice.
For Thai documents used abroad generally, the common path is certification of the translation by the Department of Consular Affairs of Thailand's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, followed by legalisation at the destination country's embassy in Bangkok.
The costliest mistake is ordering by the name of a service you have heard of rather than first asking the receiving body what form it requires.
