Receive treatment at JCI-accredited or HA-certified Thai hospitals
DTV Medical is for treatment at JCI/HA-accredited Thai hospitals such as Bumrungrad, Samitivej, or Bangkok Hospital. Requires medical letter + treatment plan + 500,000 THB bank proof. Fee 10,000 THB.

Every major hospital has an IPC that issues medical letters, cost estimates, and treatment plans
- 2Obtain medical letter
Must specify procedures, duration, and approximate cost
- 3Prepare funds
Statement ≥ 500,000 THB plus health insurance (we recommend 100,000 USD coverage)
- 4Apply via e-Visa
thaievisa.go.th > DTV > Medical Treatment, pay 10,000 THB
- 5Enter & begin treatment
5–15 day processing. Hospital usually handles your TM30 filing
Required documents
- Passport (≥ 6 months validity + 2 blank pages)
- Two 2x2 inch photos (white background, taken within 6 months)
- Bank statement showing ≥ 500,000 THB (last 6 months)
- Address proof in country of application (utility bill / lease)
- Cover letter explaining purpose of stay in Thailand
- Medical letter from JCI/HA hospital
- Treatment plan + cost estimate
- Health insurance (recommended)
