Branch Office of a Foreign Company
May conduct profit-making activities in Thailand. Requires 3M THB capital + FBL.
A Branch Office is a registered extension of a foreign parent company doing business in Thailand. It is not a separate legal entity; the parent bears joint liability. Minimum 3M THB working capital must be remitted (25% on day one, balance within 3 years) plus a Foreign Business License (FBL), since branches are classified as foreign entities under the Foreign Business Act B.E. 2542. 20% CIT on Thai-sourced profit.
Registration steps

Certificate of Incorporation + 3 years' financials + Board Resolution appointing the branch manager + POA — notarized + legalized by Thai Embassy + MFA.
