The DTV financial evidence must sit in the applicant's own name — a spouse's, parent's or company account is not accepted. Immigration officers generally expect the balance to have been held for roughly six months before filing, evidenced by a statement plus a bank confirmation letter. The employer or client must be registered outside Thailand and must not operate a Thai branch or subsidiary that you work for. Supporting evidence is usually an employment contract or service agreement, recent payslips or invoices, and the company's foreign registration certificate. Work performed for a Thai-registered entity falls under the Non-B and work-permit route instead.
One camp is enough, provided it is a registered gym able to issue an enrolment letter for a course of at least one month, together with a receipt and the camp's registration documents. Each DTV entry generally allows one extension of up to 180 days at a Thai Immigration office, filed on form TM.7 with the standard THB 1,900 government fee. You apply before the current permitted stay expires, bringing your passport, TM.6/TM.30 records and the same qualifying evidence used for the visa. Approval remains at the officer's discretion.
In-country conversion from a DTV to another visa category is generally not available; the usual route is to exit Thailand and apply for the Non-B or Non-O at a Thai embassy or consulate abroad with fresh supporting documents.
