Taiwan (Republic of China) is not a UN member and therefore cannot accede to the Hague Apostille Convention which is a UN-affiliated treaty framework. All Thai-issued documents for use in Taiwan must be authenticated through the Taipei Economic & Cultural Office (TECO) Bangkok — Taiwan's de facto consulate. Standard Work Visa & Marriage-Based Residency
Standard work visa (non-Gold Card) for skilled positions requires Taiwan employer sponsorship via Ministry of Labor work-permit application — employer must prove minimum capital TWD 5 million + minimum revenue + foreign-hire ratio compliance.
