Foreigners staying in Thailand longer than 90 consecutive days must report their address every 90 days using form TM47
All foreigners staying in Thailand more than 90 consecutive days (Non-B/Non-O/LTR/Retirement/Marriage/Education) must report their address every 90 days. Three channels: (1) Online tm47.immigration.go.th — from 15 days before to 7 days after the due date; (2) EMS post — 15 days before; (3) Walk-in — 7 days before to 7 days after. Late fine THB 2,000; over 90 days late THB 5,000.
Step-by-step process (5 steps)

Passport (original + copy) + latest TM6/entry permit + TM30 (if address changed) + completed TM47 form

Online tm47.immigration.go.th (recommended — approval in 7–15 days), EMS post, or walk-in to your district/provincial Immigration office

Print the TM47 confirmation slip and staple it inside your passport — it states the next due date

Frequently asked questions
Is the 90 days counted from first entry or last entry?
The clock runs from your most recent entry stamp or your most recent 90-day report, whichever is later. Leaving Thailand and returning resets the count entirely, so a short trip abroad starts a fresh 90-day period from the new arrival stamp rather than continuing the old one.
Can everyone file online?
Nearly everyone — except the very first report (one walk-in is required for biometric registration) and cases with flagged immigration files.
What if I'm more than 7 days late?
Walk-in to Immigration within 90 days: THB 2,000 fine. Over 90 days late = overstay (THB 5,000) plus a permanent record.
I moved to another province — where do I report?
Report at the Immigration office covering the province where you actually live, not the office that issued your original extension. Before that report, the new landlord should file TM30 for the address and you should file TM28 within 24 hours, so the address on file matches your TM47.
Do minors under 18 need to file?
Yes. The reporting duty applies to every foreigner staying more than 90 consecutive days regardless of age, including ED visa students and dependants on Non-O visas. A parent or legal guardian may submit on the child's behalf with the child's passport and proof of the family relationship.
