Can I file too early or too late?
Earliest 45 days before expiry, latest the final day of visa validity — but very last-minute filings may not get the 30-day 'under consideration' stamp.
Do I need THB 800k every renewal (Retirement)?
Yes — in your Thai bank for at least 2 months before filing and retained for 3 months after, plus THB 400k year-round.
What if extension is rejected?
7 days to leave the country, or appeal within 48 hours. Most cases simpler to leave and apply for a fresh Non-Immigrant Visa from abroad.
What is the total cost?
